The Sterile Non Adherent Pad consists of an absorbent, a non-adherent Telfa pad, which has a non-woven adhesive backing. These dressings are best suited for non-draining and lightly draining wounds, lacerations, skin tears, abrasions, surgical incisions and IV sites. The island pad construction seals out dirt and contaminants and prevents fluid strike-through. It also encourages air and moisture vapor transmission. It is water-resistant and will not adhere to the wound.
